TERMS, CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

Please read below to find out more about our Terms, Conditions and Cancellation Policies. These have been updated for the 2023 season.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

i. Payment Details:

​

  • Due to limit spaces, we are asking for full payment upon booking.

  • For some multi-day expeditions, deposits are required upon registration. Deposit requirements are individual to expedition. 

  • Secure credit card transactions protected by Wix Bookings and Stripe.

  • Canadian clients can safely bank-to-bank e-transfer without fees to info@seatoskyfreediving.com. We have auto deposit setup. 

  • PayPal transfers also available at a 3.0% additional transfer fee.

  • Starting September 2022, a 3.5% fee will be added to invoices due to credit card surcharges and increase in fees.

ii. Terms & Conditions:

  • Participants agree to have the adequate skills, health, fitness and meet the all pre-requirements prior to signing up for any event. 

  • Participants assume they're own responsibility in sourcing their own personal required gear and equipment prior to a course. 

  • Participants acknowledge we are diving in open water conditions, and thus subject to adverse weather, tides, currents and other environmental factors. 

  • Participants acknowledge and are aware of all the risks involved in freediving and spearfishing upon signing the medical forms and liability and assumption of risks forms. 

  • Due to certain environmental factors beyond the control of Sea to Sky Freediving Co. an event may be delayed, postponed or cancelled.​

CANCELLATION POLICIES

i. Courses, Expeditions and Group Events:

​

  • Full refund with a cancellation notice 30 days prior to the event starting date.

  • No refund after 30 days of event starting date.

  • Any expedition, in Canada or international, we require a minimum of 60 days cancellation notice prior to event date.

  • Any expedition cancellation might incur a partial or full loss of any costs set to accommodation, transport, meals and other group expedition expenses. 

  • Please note that any refunds might be subject to withholding of transfer fees (i.e. credit card fees, PayPal fees or bank fees).

ii. Private, Semi-Private Training, Courses and Events:

 

  • Private courses and coaching sessions are booked and set by Sea to Sky Freediving Co. and the student.

  • Due to the nature of this, no refunds will be made available for any private bookings without a 30-day notice.  

  • Full refund with a cancellation notice 30 days prior to the event starting date.

  • No refund after 30 days of event starting date.

  • Due to the flexible nature of private training and coaching, once a date is set between Sea to Sky Freediving Co. and the student, that date is subject to this Cancellation Policy. 

  • If any cancellation is made by Sea to Sky Freediving Co. without 30 days notice, we will provide a refund or full credit. 

  • Please note that any refunds might be subject to withholding of transfer fees (i.e. credit card fees, PayPal fees or bank fees).
